The Trustee Secretary plays a vital role in supporting the Trustee to ensure the smooth running of Reuters Pension Fund. A well-supported Trustee means better governance, timely decision-making, and strong oversight of the Fund. This helps protect members’ benefits and ensures the Fund is managed responsibly and transparently.
As part of the Trustee’s dedication to good governance, it carries out regular reviews of providers – and it has recently carried out a comprehensive review of its Secretariat function. Consequently, WTW (Willis Towers Watson) has been chosen to provide these services from 3 January 2026. WTW was chosen due to their expertise in providing these services.
What does this mean for you?
From 3 January 2026, WTW will be responsible for the trustee secretariat function and managing any member cases that require specialist input working closely with the Trustee, LSEG pensions team and the Fund’s administrators, Isio.
