Increases to pensions as at 1 January 2017

The annual increases in the Retail Prices Index (RPI) and the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) for the 12 months to 30 September 2016 were:-

RPI - 2,0%

CPI – 1.0%

These figures will be used to calculate the 2017 increases to pensions. Pensioners will receive shortly a letter from the Scheme Administrator that confirms the increase that will be applied to their pension from 1 January 2017.
