Beware of pension scams

It has been brought to our attention that some of our members have been contacted recently by firms that provide financial planning and advisory services, claiming to have been appointed by Reuters Pension Fund to advise them on their Reuters pension.

Neither the Trustees of Reuters Pension Fund nor Thomson Reuters have appointed any such advisory firms, nor have they authorised any such firms to contact our members about their pension.

So, beware of any unsolicited contacts that claim a connection with RPF as they could be pension scams aimed at stealing your pension. If you are approached in this way, we recommend that you report the firm(s) to the Action Fraud Helpline on 0300 123 2040 - see also the Action Fraud website by clicking on the link below:
