Annual inflation figures confirmed

The annual increases in the Retail Prices Index (RPI) and the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) for the 12 months to 30 September 2022 were:

RPI - 12.6%

CPI - 10.1%

These figures will be used to calculate the pension increase due on 1 January 2023.
